Back to our routine

Well things have been really busy since we got back from Vancouver. Herman went for his first shift on Monday night then had off till Saturday. In the next 11 days he has 10 shifts. Four of those days he will be in Lloydminster working. I still haven't caught up with the work that was on my desk when I got back but I am making progress.

Tomorrow is the North Battleford parade and Kerry has entered a float from our company into it. Of course he informed me of this on Friday. He has no real plan of what he is going to do for signage so you know who it will be up to to come up with signs and stuff to decorate the float with.

He has an old Nova and an old Corvette that he has rebuilt and I think what he wants to do is put them on the car hauler with a sign that says "Look what you could make with parts from Lo-Cost Auto Wrecking." Sounds simple doesn't it? Well with one day to do it what do I Print the sign on. What do I print it with and how in God's name do I attach it? Also how am I supposed to accomplish all this and carry on with my regular duties as well?

Any ideas would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're home

Here is a picture taken of the three sisters taken in front of the Three Sisters in Canmore AB

We arrived home at about 12:30 am Friday morning, crashed for the night and then went to Stoon on Friday to return the van and get Jacqui and her family home.

What a Trip!!!! The girls watched movies most of the way there and back. Dawson was really good. We had worried a bit about travelling with a 5 month old but he did really well. We camped one night on the way there and again on the way back. A new experience for the girls.

Thanks to Clay for the bed to sleep in and to Monty and Mel for hosting Jac and her kids. We were sent out for our anniversary supper and must say that we have never had steak in a restaurant that was as good as that at the Rugby Grill. Thank you guys for making it possible. We really appreciated the efforts you all made to make the few days we spent together special. It hardly seems real that a week ago we were having our first full day with you in Van and now we have been home for almost two days.

I think Allie is most excited that Uncle Clay and Uncle Monty sneaked them away from their mom at the PNE and took them on the roller coaster ride. Only uncles can get away with that!
